Scottsdale’s Leading Intersections for Collisions

According to City of Scottsdale crash history data, the Hayden Road and Thomas Road intersection is the number one worst intersection for Scottsdale accidents.

The Thomas and Hayden intersection is noteworthy due to corners with commercial shopping, numerous nearby driveways, left turning vehicles and extensive congestion. Thomas also extends eastbound, and intersects the Loop 101.

92nd Street and Shea Boulevard is second, for intersection accidents, it is located near the Loop 101, Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center, and nearby commercial and residential areas.

Intersections along Shea have high rankings, Shea extends from the State Route 51, across the Loop 101, and east into Fountain Hills.

Recently I represented clients involved in two separate serious injury Scottsdale intersection crashes at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway, arising out of collisions caused by drivers making unsafe left turns.

In one case a bicyclist proceeded westbound on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in the crosswalk on a green light. In another case my client drove westbound on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, also through the green light. Collisions occurred, both clients were hospitalized, the resulting treatment for their injuries was extensive. Litigation was necessary to obtain fair compensation for their injuries and damages.
